Speedway Star was the pioneer in the popularity in Speedway souvenirs in Australia. Our first shop was at the famous Sydney Showground in the late 1960’s. Back then we specialised in photographs, books, sew-ons and metal pins but by 1974 we were producing the first mass produced shirts for the England vs Australia Test Matches, Billy Sanders, Phil Crump, DickBriton and most of the Champions that have graced our sport.
Speedway Star set up the first Souvenir Shop at Parramatta in 1977 and helped establish shops at most of the major speedways around Australia, including The Brisbane Ekka, Tralee Speedway, Newcastle Motordrome, Claremont, Borderline Speedway, Mount Gambier, Warrnambool, Avalon and Speedway Park (now Speedway City).
We had a great tour saw some great Sprintcar racing, went to some interesting American country towns and met some fantastic new friends whom we still see today. Will definitely do the tour again.

The Speedway Star USA tour was fantastic, all I hoped for and more. Met many great people both on the tour and others around the racetracks. The racing we saw was great with a large number of racetracks visited. Also really enjoyed the access we got to many race workshops. If you are thinking of doing a USA speedway tour, I highly recommend going with Speedway Star - it was the trip of a lifetime.

Wayne, I have to say that the time I spent on your tour in 2009 was the absolute time of my life. It was living the dream for a person who lives and breathes speedway racing and I have told everyone that I have come into contact with that, if they want to go speedway racing in the USA, they should definitely do your tour. It is, by far, the best value for money, tour of dirt track racing in the USA available. I got to see and meet some of the absolute legends of speedway racing including Mel Kenyon and Tony Stewart and the chance to crew for a Chilli Bowl winner like Tracey Hines was just an absolute bonus. I would recommend your tour to anyone in Australia wanting to go dirt track racing in the USA without a moments hesitation and would go back to the US with you if I the chance ever arose. Go fast, turn left mate!!!!!!

Speedway Star USA Tours, I can strongly recommend them, my first trip was in 1980, great race tracks, great tours, adventures all the way, First met Sammy Swindell at Eldora 1980 through this tour. We were able to drive our rent a cars around med Indy Raceway, then days later Daytona super speedway. Toured 8 states and drove many miles. Stayed at Disney World Golf Resort which was fantastic. Next trip 1988 similar to the above. Tracks like Knoxville, Santa Maria, Eldora, I-86 raceway, visited Jim Patricks workshops. Behind the scenes raceway and workshop visits, tours that others offer are not a patch on the Meyer tours. Next was a mini tour in which was 1997 where it was a short tour for myself, Knoxville nationals only. I cannot speak more highly of the Speedway Star speedway tours.

Hi Wayne, Just a couple of lines to let you know what a great time my son and I had on your speedway trip to USA. Anybody looking for a speedway fix should go with Wayne and watch some of the best racing you will ever see. You will make life long friends as well. I think my most favourite part of the trip was the Belleville Speedcar Nationals. You will never see better racing on such a large track. Anyway thanks again Wayne. I will go again in the next couple of years.

Ive been on 2 Speedway Star USA Speedway tours in the last 5 years and both times have had a blast. Everything is arranged in advance, you just turn up at the airport and Wayne takes care of the rest. A smorgasbord of Speedway racing of every description as well as some NASCAR. Plenty to time to tour race factories, race museums and of course shopping. Oh and you also get to do the tourist thing by visiting such cities as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Washington DC , Niagra Falls to name a few. The best ting is meeting fellow petrol heads and many life long friendships are struck up. If you want to see the real America I can certainly recommend Wayne's USA tour.
